Attendance and Driving Requirements: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!

1. Mandatory Attendance:

   • Attendance is required for all three days of the session. If student cannot attend all sessions, they will need to reschedule and retake the entire session. No exceptions will be made.

2. Classroom Hours:

   • The session fulfills the state's requirement of 20 hours of classroom instruction.

   • Student will need their own ride to class. 

3. Drive Time:

   • Drive time will be scheduled once student attends the classroom session. Instructors will meet their students during this time and work on getting the first lesson scheduled. 

   • Drive time is separate from the 20 hours of classroom instruction.

4. Pickup and Meeting Place (for driving portion):

   • If you live in Bellevue, Papillion, Gretna, Millard, Elkhorn, or nearby areas, you will be picked up from your home.

   • If they live outside our area, a meeting place will be arranged (i.e. Ashland, Springfield, Plattsmouth, Fort Calhoun, Blair, etc.). 

5. Scheduling the Driving Portion:

   • Drive times will be arranged based on instructor and student schedules.

   • Students will receive their instructor's phone number for contact at any time when they come to class.

6. Timing Considerations:

   • During summer months or school breaks, driving sessions may take longer due to increased demand.

   • Plan ahead to avoid last-minute scheduling issues, as drive time cannot be rushed.​
